Chun Kwan Martin Chan BDS- Partner

Martin graduated from University of Dundee in 2006, and completed his vocational training under Family dental care at Prestonpans in 2007. Since then, he has dedicated 17 years working within this practice. 

Caroline McArdle BDS- Partner

General Dental Council Number-103098
Caroline graduated from University of Dundee in 2006, Caroline enjoys working with patients for cosmetic, restorative and tooth wear cases. She enjoys going to study groups in these topics and has attended courses on Veneers and onlays (especially Emax), denture design, advanced periodontology and occlusion.

Dr Caroline is in a partnership with Dr Martin Chan.   

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her adorable family. A few years ago she travelled the world with her husband. Caroline watched sumo wrestling in Japan, visited the Taj Mahal and went snorkling with whale sharks in Mexico…what can we say, this lady is adventurous and loves to travel!

Fraser Sim BDS- Associate Dentist

Mr Sim qualified from Edinburgh University in 1979. Following graduation he worked for a year at a practice in Dunbar. He joined the Musselburgh Practice as an Associate in 1980, became partners in 1985 then owner in 1994. Mr Sim recently sold half his practice to Dr Caroline McArdle. 
The Edinburgh branch of the practice was opened in 1988 in Haddington Place, shortly moving to the present location at 28 Annadale Street in 1998. 

Joanna Adamczak- Gawrychowska BDS – Associate Dentist

General Dental Council Number- 100979
Joanna graduated from University of Warsaw, Poland in 1988 and worked there until moving to Scotland in 2006. She has worked in practices in Aberdeen and  Dundee before joining our practice as an Associate in 2008. Joanna is fluent in Polish.

Ukończyłam Akademię Medyczną w Warszawie, potem pracowałam w stolicy.
W 2006 roku pr2enioslam się do Szkocji. Pracowałam w Aberdeen i Dundee, od 2008 pracuję w Musselburgu.

Ryan Wallace BDS -Associate dentist

General Dental Council Number- 283761

Graduated 2019 from Queen University Belfast. Has worked in Ballymena in Northern Ireland and Eyemouth before settling in Musselburgh. Has had a lot of experience and interest composite bonding/ veneers. Is currently going through training for further education in oral surgery.

Anna Maguire BDS – Associate dentist 

Anna graduated from The University of
Dundee in 2022 and started working at Musselburgh dental care in August. She is enjoying the different aspects of general dentistry, in particular the restorative aspects.
In her free time she enjoys running, travelling and spending time with her dogs.

Lynsey Ogilvie BDS – Associate dentist 

Lynsey graduated from the University of Dundee then worked at a practice in Edinburgh before moving to work in Musselburgh. She enjoys the variety of all aspects of dentistry but particularly enjoys restorative dentistry. In her free time she enjoys visiting new food spots, spin classes and travelling when she can.

Jacqueline Hadden- Bowler
Jackie started at our practice in September 1989 and has been working for the practice for 37 years. Previous employments had seen her gain experience in office administration and secretarial duties. Dealing with the public was also a major contribution. Jackie now deals with reception primarily. She has responsibility for all personnel within the practice. Jackie also deals with all patient enquires and accounts. If there are any problems or complaints she would be the first point of contact.

Avril Bathgate-118999
Before joining the practice Avril worked at Knights Electronics in Musselburgh from summer 1985 till January 1990 as a Saturday girl.

Avril joined the practice in the summer of 1989 as a trainee dental nurse looking for a placement before joining  Telford college in September 1989. She worked in the summer holidays with the practice until college started in  September where she attended college and continued with two days a week placement.

She was offered a full time position within the practice on 18/1/1990 and promoted to head nurse shortly after. Avril continued her studies at night school. Gaining  NEBDN certificate, in dental nursing in May 1992. She gained her NEBDN certificate in sedation in 1995. Avril is responsible for staff inductions, training, stock control, writing policies, nursing, LDU and CPI.
