Experience of scottish NHS system preferred and full GDC registration essential.
All rooms are spacious with personal desks and are equipped with belmont chairs, software of excellence (exact) and rotary endo regardless of NHS or private treatment.
Musselburgh is a lively small town 6 miles to the east of Edinburgh, with a racecourse, and part of Scotland’s golf coast. We are opposite one of the most famous ice cream parlours in lothian and within walkable distance to loretto school. Travel to Musselburgh is easy either by train or bus from Edinburgh city centre. We also have a private staff car park.
The practice has been operating for over 50 years with extended families attending for many generations. Some of our staff have been with us for over 30 years and are more than happy to help assist with local knowledge. A therapist is also available.

Our hours are Weekdays 8.45am to 6 pm. Fridays 8.45am to 5pm. We require nurses to work some Saturdays 8.45 am to 1.30 pm once the pandemic leaves us alone.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a dental nurse your role will be to assist the dentist or therapist in the surgery during procedures.
Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilising, decontamination of dental instruments in surgery and our fully equipped LDU unit.
To welcome patients, providing face to face patient service at the reception, making bookings, answering telephone appointments and taking payments.
Qualifications and Skills
– Current GDC Registration
– Dental Nursing qualification
– At least 2 years experience after qualification
-First aid and decontamination in surgery CPD
Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
